Waking life is an incredible film about dreams. It takes you through a dream sequence in which the main character repeatedly experiences false awakenings, and continues into another dream, for the most part unaware that he is dreaming..
The dialogue in this move is phenomenal. The characters in his dreams discuss many important matters, including enlightenment, lucid dreaming, the corrupt political system, and much more.
The animation in this movie is brilliant, and very accurately depicts the different levels of clarity within a dream. In some scenes, the animation is very clear, and in others, it feels as if the world and characters are falling apart…
