The Lost Keys of Freemasonry

The Lost Keys of Freemasonry (Dover Occult): Manly P. Hall ...

Another must own book by the Sage and author Manly Palmer Hall, is called “The Lost Keys of Freemasonry”.  Unlike the other MASSIVE book (over 700 pages) that I reviewed by him called “The Secret Teachings of All Ages”, this one weighs in at a modest 93 pages.  Ofcourse, these 93 pages are ABSOLUTELY filled with Wisdom.

In this book, Manly Hall expounds on the deep significance of the true teachings of Freemasonry, as well as the symbolic representation of the first 3 degrees.  He talks about the journey of an initiate as they attempt to erect the temple of Wisdom within themselves.

Reading this book is very important for Freemasons, as well as anyone wishing to better themselves.  The story of Hiram Abif, as discussed within this book, shows us the path to retribution, as well as how to avoid the path to destruction.

An interesting thing that Manly Hall mentions in this book, is that a Freemason is not determined by initiation, but rather by actions.  He discusses how one who is not initiated but understands the secret truths and lives by them, is, in his opinion, a Freemason, while one who is initiated into the fraternity but still remains ignorant, is NOT.
This book would be a great asset to any collection of spiritual books!
