Autobiography of a Yogi

Autobiography of a Yogi — Paperback - SRF Bookstore

Autobiography of a Yogi is an autobiography of one of the most influential Yogi’s of the past 200 years; Paramhansa Yogananda.  This MASTERPIECE is without a doubt one of my favorite spiritual books, and I believe it is one of the most important books in existence.

As far as autobiographies go, it does not really get more interesting than this.  Paramhansa Yogananda travelled the world in his life, and met many of the greatest spiritual masters contemporary with him, and has given detailed accounts of such meetings in this book.

I have read this amazing spiritual book cover to cover 5 times, and will continue to read it as I grow and develop spiritually.  Certain chapters, such as chapter 43, I have read 15 or so times.  This chapter is a revelation from his recently deceased master, who resurrected and delivered a message to him, intended for the world (as he knew it would be mentioned in his book which was years away from being written).  This message is a detailed description of life, death, the astral realm, the causal realm, and many other all important topics.

This book, plain and simple, will stretch your mind and awaken you to the limitlessness of your Self.  Within this magical book, are true stories of a man who wrestles tigers, a man who can levitate, a detailed description of Yogananda’s experience of cosmic consciousness, and a true account of the deathless master Mahavatar Babaji creating a palace in the Himalayas with his mind.

Infact, this is much more than a book, it is a great spiritual treasure to be owned, read, and studied.  Do yourself a favor and buy this book!
